What Can I Do in My Backyard to control mosquitoes?
How can you control mosquitoes around your home and yard?
Something as small as a bottle cap of water is all it takes for pest nuisance or disease carrying mosquitoes to breed. Protect your family by doing the following:
Drain and discard anything that might collect water, such as potted plants, gutters, boats, toys
Keep your lawn mowed to reduce adult mosquito resting sites
Fill in any low spots in your yard that might collect water
Flush bird baths at least once a week
Replace water in pet bowls often
Remove vegetation and ebris from drainage ditches
Keep your pool clean and in operating condition
If you have a pond, stock it with minnows
Repair torn window screens
Turn boats upside down
Last but not least, get your backyard the "guard"! Call Mosquito Guard LLC for more information.
